I called my practice Dear Self because I believe that true healing and understanding begin when we turn inward, when we gently say to ourselves: "I see you. I'm here for you."
Sometimes we need support to name and make sense of our feelings—so we can learn how to regulate them, or understand what lies beneath them. Anger is not always just anger; beneath it, there might be fear, loneliness, or deep frustration.
Being ‘there’ for others might come from kindness—but it might also mask a longing for acceptance, or a fear of rejection. Feeling stuck may not be laziness or failure, but a quiet fear of leaving your comfort zone, or old patterns that no longer serve you.
The human psyche is beautifully complex—and I am endlessly fascinated by its depths. But even more than that, I’m here to explore it with you.
